8400Large Capacity Grease Interceptors

This large capacity greace interceptor is ideal for large kitchens or institutions where there is an anticipated high rate of discharge of fats, oils, and greases (F.O.G.s) laden waste from the fixtures. F.O.Gs will solidify and build up in pipes and lead to blockages, backups, pipe bursts, and overflows. These large fabricated steel units available from 75 to 500 gallons per minute are most adaptable to industrial applications such as food processing and packaging plants.

How Grease Interceptors Work

"The advantage of an interceptor is its proven track record and long-established acceptance by the plumbing industry."

– *PM Engineer Magazine

Learn about the importance of a grease trap or interceptor and how one works to keep plumbing functioning properly.

A grease trap (or grease interceptor) is a plumbing device (a type of trap) designed to intercept most greases and solids before they enter a wastewater disposal system. These units reduce the amount of fats, oils, and greases (FOGs) that enter sewers.
