Roof Drain with Adjustable Extension

The Roof Drain with Adjustable Extension (Figure No. 1015) easily adjusts to accommodate variations in insulation depth. This general-purpose drain is adjustable on site to accommodate roofs of any construction between 1 1/4" and 4" thick. The combination flange clamp and gravel stop spins around a threaded extension sleeve until it's just the right height.

Roof Drains with Deck Plate

The Roof Drain with Low Profile Dome (Figure No. 1010-RDP, shown below) requires less man power and has a safer installation from the top of the roof deck only. The 15-1/4" Duco coated cast iron drain will quickly clear large runoff accumulations. The combined flashing clamp and gravel stop protect drain lines from debris and securely grips flashing and roofing materials without puncturing for a leak-proof installation. The drain is protected by a low-profile, polyethylene dome strainer.

Roof drains can be pre-assembled to deck plate and placed as one unit from the top roof surface, saving time. Drains eliminate the need for underdeck clamps and is mounted directly to the top deck, so it can be installed by a single person. Because you no longer need a second installer on the floor below, you remove potential safety hazards associated with climbing and save on installation time. Shown below is the combination Roof Drain and Overflow Drain (Figure No. 1800). Engineered to save installation costs, the roof and overflow drains of this unit are securely attached to a single deck plate. This permits both 8-1/2” drains to be secured to the roof deck from above the roof, eliminates the need for an underdeck clamp, and requires only one roof penetration. These drains are constructed of Duco coated cast iron and have a combined flashing clamp and gravel stop. The overflow drain is fitted with a combined flashing clamp and 2” water dam. Both drains are protected by polyethylene dome strainers.

This top mount drain elevator lifts the drain out of the waterway and the cast thread makes it a snap to set the perfect height . The top mount reversible collar eliminates the need for a conventional extension, underdeck clamp, and sump receiver, streamlining the installation process.

Product shown below is a Top Mount Drain Elevator (Figure No.1010DEK). These drain elevators are designed to raise 1005, 1010, 1070 and 1080 type roof drains as much as 6-3/4” above the roof deck to compensate for insulation thickness. Constructed of Duco coated cast iron and set into a top mount reversible collar, they eliminate the need for conventional extensions, underdeck clamps and sump receivers.
