The Zip Trench® Prefab Trench Drain System

With the Zip Trench® system, it’s never been easier to install trench drainage. The modular system is designed with the contractor in mind, including a number of features to speed up install and minimize labor commitments. The Zip Trench is a polypropylene, prefabricated trench drain available in 6” or 12” widths.

* Based on the costs associated with installing a 100ft section of Cast-in-Place Trench Drain compared to the same length using Smith 9960 Zip-Trench. Cast-in-Place installation requires 48hrs of labor compared to 11.5hrs when installing a Zip-Trench Drain.

12” Wide Zip Trench Drain System

Go from 0 to 60 feet in just six sections! The fast, long, pre-assembled runs of the Zip Trench system get you where you're going faster, with fewer stops along the way. This light-weight, polypropylene trench drain system is much more efficient than polymer concrete and has better chemical resistance than polyethylene. Also featuring a high flow volume and storage capacity, it offers a less expensive, labor saving alternative to cast-in-place trench drains. Shown below is the 12" Zip Trench Drain, (Fig. No. 9960)
