Metal Lath Access Doors
These 16 gauge, galvannealed steel access doors designed for installation in lath and plaster wall construction. To facilitate installation, 3“ (75) metal lath surrounds the steel frame/jamb of the door permitting attachment of the unit to the wall’s structural members and for plaster to grip. A concealed pivoting rod hinge prevents distortion and closes the door squarely (doors 24" or larger have piano hinges.) The latch is screwdriver operated. The doors are delivered primed and ready for painting.
