Fire Rated Ceiling Access Doors

This galvannealed steel ceiling access door should be installed in walls and ceilings that are also fire rated. The door panel is 20 gauge steel that sandwiches 2” (50) of insulation. The frame/jamb is 16 gauge and fitted with masonry anchors and bolt holes for installation in walls of any construction type. Mounted on the long side of the rectangle is a fully concealed hinge. The door panel is fitted with a heavy-duty spring closure to ensure secure latching. Its exterior latch is a dual purpose lock that features a knurled knob and key operation. An interior latch release permits unlocking from inside. Both are provided at time of shipping. The door assembly is delivered primed and ready to paint.
