Grease Interceptors with Receiving Cradle with Integral Drip Pan

The all-steel receiving cradle with integral drip pan provides positive support for the interceptor and adjustability for the inlet and outlet connections to meet the drainage piping. It is ideal for kitchens, restaurants, institutions, and all types of food processing areas where waste water contains Fats, OIls, and Greases (F.O.G.s). F.O.Gs will solidify and build up in pipes and lead to blockages, backups, pipe bursts, and overflows. The receiving cradle can be set in the slab at the time of the pouring or set in a pre-sleeved opening in the rough slab. The receiver is secured and suspended in the rough slab by its anchoring flange. The interceptor body is lowered into the receiving cradle and adjusted to the connecting drainage piping. Interceptor is readily accessible for cleaning and inspection simply by removing the cover which sits flush with the floor.

How Grease Interceptors Work

"The advantage of an interceptor is its proven track record and long-established acceptance by the plumbing industry."

– *PM Engineer Magazine

Learn about the importance of agrease trapor interceptor and how one works to keep plumbing functioning properly.

A grease trap (or grease interceptor) is a plumbing device (a type of trap) designed to intercept most greases and solids before they enter a wastewater disposal system. These units reduce the amount of fats, oils, and greases (FOGs) that enter sewers.
